Scruffy To Fluffy offers one on one luxury routine grooming services to dogs 25lbs & under. We require clients to stay on a healthy grooming schedule of 3-6 weeks.
This allows us to offer the very best care and ability to form a bond with your pet. Infrequent grooming appointments lead to skin issues and grooming anxiety. More frequent visits help your pet to trust us, enjoy the process and aid in the prevention or detection of health issues. Policy Agreement
✨Every client is required to read and sign this Policy Agreement prior to any grooming services being performed✨
➡️Pre-booking:
We strongly recommend pre-scheduling appointments! This guarantees that your pet will be kept in excellent condition and ensure you pets spot. Even if you call ahead of time, all of our clients stick to a pre-booked routine grooming schedule every 3-6 weeks. We’re booked out months in advance so it’s best to prebook all appointments.

➡️Appointment times:
When Scruffy To Fluffy Pet Grooming offers an appointment time, it is truly the time of your pets appointment. Please be there at that time. I understand sometimes things happen we’re running behind or you’re running behind. Reach out!
(Example: 3 dogs that no showed = $210). Imagine working a whole day and not getting paid! Ouch! Please be courteous and reach out to us! If you’re are more then 15 mins late you MUST reschedule.

➡️Cancellations:
We have a very busy schedule with clients who come every 2-6 weeks. If you cannot keep your appointment, we require at least 48 hours advance notice, so that we may fill your spot. Failure to cancel in advance will result in a charge of $35 that must be paid prior to your next appointment.
On rare occasions, Scruffy to Fluffy Pet Grooming may need to cancel appointments due to weather, illness, equipment failure, etc. Every effort will be made to contact you in advance♥️
➡️Veterinary care:
Your pet's comfort and safety are our first priorities. I will make every effort to ensure your pet's grooming is pleasant and safe. However, if your pet becomes ill or is hurt and the services of a veterinarian are required, you hereby give us permission to obtain treatment if you are not available to do so and you agree to pay such expenses.
➡️Senior pets & pets with health issues:
Grooming procedures sometimes can be stressful, especially for a senior pet or pet with health problems, and can expose hidden medical conditions or aggravate existing ones, during or after the grooming. Because senior pets and pets with health problems have a greater chance of injury, these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress. You hereby agree not to hold Scruffy to Fluffy Pet Grooming responsible for accident or injury to an elderly or health-compromised pet during their grooming.
➡️Flea/Tick policy:
We will NOT groom any pets with ticks. The removal of ticks from your pet can cause a local infection, therefore we do NOT remove ticks. If your pet(s) DOES have ticks we will refuse to groom it and charge a minimum $30 fee for booking and not being able to groom your pet(s). If your pet(s) DOES have ticks, please take him/ her to your local Vet and have him/ her prescribe a medication which will cause the ticks to die and fall of, then you may schedule your appointment with Scruffy to Fluffy pet grooming. This policy was also made to assure that your pet(s) will leave our grooming salon tick free.
➡️Aggressive or dangerous pets:
Safety comes first for everyone during the grooming process, people as well as pets. Owners MUST inform Scruffy to Fluffy pet grooming if your pet bites, has bitten, or is aggressive to people, other pets or specific grooming procedures. Muzzles may be used if necessary. Muzzling will not harm your pet, and protects both the pet and the groomer. We reserve the right to refuse/stop services for such pets at any time before or during the grooming process, we will charge for the amount of the groom that
has been accomplished or $65 whichever is greater or charge an Aggressive Dog Fee in addition to the regular grooming charge. Owners will be held liable for any bites or any property damage caused by their pets.
➡️Grooming styles:
Grooming styles follow the standard recommended cut for each breed unless otherwise requested by the client prior to the grooming.
➡️Matted coats:
We do NOT demat coats. This is a timely and painful procedure for your pet to endure. It contradicts our stress/anxiety free philosophy. A heavily matted coat will need to be removed with a 'smoothie' to allow for new healthy coat growth.
Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions due to warts, moles or skin folds trapped in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture near the pet's skin allowing mold, fungus or bacteria to grow, causing skin irritations that exist prior to the grooming process. After-effects of mat removal procedures can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions and failure of the hair to regrow.
Closely shaved pets are also prone to sunburn & should either have sun screen applied daily or should be kept out of the sun until the hair grows sufficiently to protect the skin.
In certain breeds and coat types, the coat may not grow back the same. The owner is responsible for the condition of the pet's coat and I will not hold At Your Bark And Call Mobile Pet Salon responsible in the event of adverse effects of mat removal and/or shaving.
The owner is aware that if the pet has sensitive skin it may end with some kind of allergic reaction upon.
➡️Pets with sensitive skin or sensitivity to shaving:
Some pets are hyper sensitive to being shaved down close to the skin. This is especially common in light colored pets. These pets may exhibit behaviors such as scooting, scratching, or licking directly following their groom. Scruffy to fluffy pet grooming will do everything to minimize the effects of being shaved down. If any of these reactions occur, please notify Scruffy to Fluffy Pet Grooming. During any further grooming appointments, we will try to leave the coat at a longer length is possible to avoid further reactions. Any veterinary care obtained will be at the pet owner’s expense.
Scruffy to Fluffy Pet grooming is not liable for allergic reactions resulting from the manufacturer recommended usage of grooming products. Please consult with your veterinarian regarding product concerns. Scented shampoos, conditioners, creme rinses, sprays and colognes are used. Latex bands are also used in our bows. Please inform us if you or your pet is allergic.
➡️Pricing Policy:
Our prices vary according to breed, size, type of coat and behavior of your pet. We are happy to give you an estimate on the phone, but keep in mind prices might need to be adjusted slightly at the time of service.
➡️Photos/pictures:
Photos, pictures, or videos may be taken of my pet before, during, or after grooming for use on Scruffy to Fluffy Pet Grooming’s Website, Facebook, Instagram, or for any other marketing or advertising purposes.
➡️Ear hair removal:
All pets will have their ears cleaned with a mild ear cleaner. Ear hair will be removed/not removed based on your preference and your vet’s advice.
➡️Accepted payment methods:
Cash or checks with ID is the only form of payment accepted. **Payment is due upon completion of services** There will be an additional charge of $35 for all returned checks due to insufficient funds.
➡️Puppies or dogs that have never been professionally groomed before:
Scruffy to Fluffy Pet Grooming will do everything possible to make your pets first time groom an enjoyable and positive experience. By working very slowly, the groomer’s preference for the first groom is to introduce the grooming process to your pet. Groomer brushes, bathes, and dries your pet, and then introduces the clipper by letting your pet see and smell, slowly rubbing clippers on their body before turning them on. The whole process is repeated with the clippers running. Some pets will accept this right away, while others may take more time. The groomer will do as much as possible this first time, without causing undo stress to your pet. Your pet may not be ready for a full haircut on their first visit. In this situation, your pet will be groomed as much as possible, based entirely on their patience and tolerance. This is a learning process where only positive repetition can prevail.
➡️Signature Required for Grooming Services:
I the undersigned do understand and agree to the above terms for the grooming and maintenance of my pet(s) and in consideration of the grooming services of Scruffy to Fluffy Pet Grooming agree to hold harmless from damage, loss or claims arising from any known or unknown pre-existing condition of my pet(s). The terms, special services or handling shall include but are not limited to veterinarian emergency services in the event I am not available. I authorize Kiersten Singh [Scruffy to Fluffy Pet Grooming] to act as my agent in the event emergency veterinarian services, boarding, care-taking, and/or transportation is necessary and I agree to pay all costs. Any/all damages, loss or claim shall include but not limited to death, injury, or shock. Said pre-existing conditions shall not be limited to advanced age, extreme nervousness, neurosis, illness, previous injury, skin or coat conditions, or mental conditions.
